The club currently has about 50 members. Each membership year runs from the beginning of April to the end of March.
We offer three main types of membership:
Full member
This is for regular members who live within easy travelling distance. This member receives a special car park ticket* allowing free parking in the car park during the summer months when visitors normally have to pay a daily charge. The annual membership fee is £65, which covers the whole family, not just the named member.
Associate member
This is for members who occasionally sail at Minnis Bay, because they live more than 45 miles away and can only manage occasional trips. These members also receive a car park ticket*. The annual membership fee is £35.
Student member
This is for students who are hard up (or just saving up for a new board!). These members also receive a car park ticket*. The annual membership fee is just £35.

All members have use of the club hut for changing (useful on those bitterly cold days in winter), with water for washing sails/boards if required.
The club rescue boat will also be used by other members to rescue you if you get into trouble. The rescue boat is very rarely needed as it is such a safe bay.
All members are also invited to any of the social events that take place throughout the year.
* note that on busy days, a car parking space is not guaranteed. We rent a bulk amount of car park space from the council, which is normally sufficient. However, some days during summer can get very busy. You can use them on a first come basis, but park up close to maximise our allocated space. However, if you've just come to picnic and not to windsurf, kindly give priority to members with kit to unload.
