...to the Minnis Bay Windsurfing Club website.
The Minnis Bay Windsurfing Club is a small club of about 50 members, mostly from Thanet or the wider reaches of Kent, with a few stragglers coming from further afield. Some members are also into kitesurfing, if the wind and tide are suitable.
We are a non-profit organisation, run by volunteers for the good of the club. The small membership fees pay for a few of the added benifits of being a member, such as parking spaces in the council run car park, a club hut for changing and washing your gear, plus the use of the club rescue boat. And of course, invites to the social events and regular newsletters.
Minnis Bay, on the north Kent coast, is about 4 miles west of Margate. The bay provides a safe venue for both learning and progressing onto advanced levels in the sport of windsurfing.
